Walter Witlov produced his first sound when he was born at May 31, 1978 as Jan Willem Gijsbers. He is born and raised in one of the most creative cities of The Netherlands: Arnhem. Music always had his interest and that\u2019s why he mastered his skills on the Technics SLK 1200 at djles.nl followed by turning the tables on several parties.<\/p>\n

In 2006 he challenged other DJ\u2019s in the Pioneer DJ Contest in Rotterdam. He reached the semi-finals where he competed with Nicky Romero. After this contest his DJ career became a roller coaster ride.<\/p>\n

His genre can be described as a combination of solid bass combined with good vocals. Also known as a mix of house, progressive house and influences of trance. The crowd constantly feeling connected with his set, is most important for him. To create his own unique footprint he is working hard on his own tracks right now.<\/p>\n

His second love is Soccer, especially his football club Vitesse Arnhem. In 2011 he joined the club as DJ. On the match days (every two weeks) he turns the tables in Gelredome Stadium, the biggest theatre of The Netherlands, for almost 20.000 people. One of his great examples, DJ Tiesto, performed here as DJ in one of the first house concerts in a stadium. Walter Witlov is proud to be able to perform on this holy ground.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]OVER<\/p>\n

Walter Witlov produceerde zijn eerste geluid toen hij op 31 mei 1978 werd geboren als Jan Willem Gijsbers. Hij is geboren en getogen in een van de meest creatieve steden van Nederland: Arnhem. Muziek had altijd zijn interesse en daarom beheerste hij zijn vaardigheden op de Technics SLK 1200 via djles.nl, het vervolg was draaien op verschillende feesten.<\/p>\n

In 2006 deed hij mee aan de Pioneer DJ Contest in Rotterdam. Hij bereikte de halve finale waar hij streed met Nicky Romero. Na deze wedstrijd werd zijn DJ-carri\u00e8re een achtbaanrit.<\/p>\n

Zijn genre is te omschrijven als een combinatie van stevige bas gecombineerd met goede zang. Ook wel bekend als een mix van house, progressive house en invloeden van trance. De mensen op de dansvloer verbinden zijn met de juiste muziekkeuze, is voor hem het belangrijkste. Om zijn eigen unieke voetafdruk te cre\u00ebren, werkt hij momenteel hard aan zijn eigen tracks.<\/p>\n

Zijn tweede liefde is voetbal, vooral zijn voetbalclub Vitesse Arnhem. In 2011 vervoegde hij zich bij de club als Huis-DJ. Op de wedstrijddagen (om de twee weken) draait hij voor bijna 18.000 mensen in GelreDome, het grootste theater van Nederland. Een van zijn grote voorbeelden, DJ Tiesto, trad als eerste DJ op in dit stadion. Alles leuk, goed en prettig feest. We hebben ons zeer goed vermaakt, mooie avond. Prima overleg van begin tot het eind. Walter Witlov is een zeer goede DJ en heeft de verzoeknummers en interactie met de gasten super opgepakt. Ook aan de dresscode heeft Walter Witlov zich prima gehouden!<\/p>\n

Allereerst wil ik zeggen dat het een knaller van een feest is geworden. Jan Willem\/DJ Walter Witlov (ik bleek hem al persoonlijk te kennen, wat erg leuk was en het nog persoonlijker maakte!!) was steengoed.
